joined the box game tour last night in pittsburgh.
so much traveling lately - left vermont on sunday and drove to belmont, massachusetts. left belmont monday morning on an afternoon flight (as a snowstorm cancelled the busticket i had bought just hours before). the view from my windowseat was spectacular, though - floating above clouds in a pink-purple sky.
» it’s david, lukas, and i in a car with bags, a 3’x1’ box, four canvases that attach together to make the sign, two suits hanging by the window, 90’s pop buzzing through radio, and intermittently, the sound of words as one of us reads from the society of the spectacle/peter pan .

—all the way to cambridge, ohio. that is where i am now.
i lived in cambridge, massachusetts for a year when i was 10.

so it’s only the second night, but the strangeness is already sinking in. (aside from the initial disoriented state from all this abrupt change).
having no “home base” beside the car, which is a means of transportation from a place to another. how does one let go of this constant search for familiary and let go, i don’t know right now.
surrendering to the perpetual new. letting things, people, places, come and go as they inevitably do.
